PowerGig Dumps Fake Guitars Into Volcano

Somewhere out there, a few musicians will crack a few beers and celebrate what happens in the video below, as the plastic guitar game movement was likely not embraced by all. The folks from PowerGig, the newest and first game to feature true-to-life guitars, felt compelled to dump a cache of controllers into a volcano, which, at first, seems kind of cool to do, until you're left utterly stupefied at their environmental irresponsibility. I mean, come on, polluting is still polluting, isn't it?

  1. The pollution happened when those PoS controllers were manufactured. Incineration is a relatively benign way of getting rid of them, at least compared to a landfill.
