Hypebot Seeks Writing & Research Interns

Hypebot is seeking writing and research interns for 2011. These unpaid positions entail writing and researching articles to be published on our blogs. As well, interns are encouraged to reach out to leading music industry professionals and conduct interviews. Past interns have pursued a variety of interests from how blogs changed music criticism to why YouTube is the new demo tape for indie artists to the difficulties of breaking through the clutter for new artists. We hope that you'll have great ideas like these to write about as well. Interested? Here are a few questions you might have:

• What will you write about? Bruce and I are very open-minded about the subjects that you will cover during your internship with us. Each intern gets to pick their focus and we'll suggest topics too.
• How long is the internship? Well, the internship normally lasts a few months. However, past interns have expressed interest in staying with us and continuing to write after their obligation expired.
• What do we seek in interns? You should be ferociously curious, independent, and have a little bit of experience in writing. As well, you should have a passion for music and interest in the industry.
• Will I become overwhelmed? We understand that you're busy and writing isn't easy. We're going to be very flexible in the demands that we have of you and the time that you have to write your stories.

This internship is virtual, meaning that you can do it from anywhere. It's an unpaid position. It can be can be easily tailored to fit the needs of students that are part of an accredited program. In other words, you can live across the ocean from us, be a semi-busy student, and we'll still consider you for this internship.
