Microfunding Is The Future of Labels

On Music Think Tank, Michael Epstein starts a debate in the comments with his post on microfunding.  He breaks down the various business models that Kickstarter follows, but thinks that the service is the wrong model for bands. In his post, he suggests a different approach for the future and would like some feedback on his idea.
