Many apps have appeared lately that strive to rekindle the shared music experience, but Wahwah.fm is the most intriguing one yet.

The free music app aims to let users create a playlist from their existing collection and broadcast their listening session to friends and strangers alike. Wahwah.fm wants to give users a way to share music with their friends and tap into the tastes of the places they inhabit. While listening, users will be able to text back and forth about the music, as well as, favorite and buy their favorite songs.
