News Brief: Amazon Meets With Labels, WMG Shifts Strategy, Spotify Limits Free, Video Ranking & More

• Amazon is meeting with record labels today to answer questions about its controversial unlicensed could music locker and see how willing they are to negotiate for features that would enhance the system and player.
• Warner Music Group is now only considering offers for the sale of the whole company rather than ofers for parts of the business. They could reach an agreement within weeks, according to the Wall Street Journal.  WMG shares jumped another 3.4% Wednesday on sales rumors.
• Spotify has put new limits on it's free streaming music service in an effort to drive premium sales and "continue making Spotify available to all in the long-term."
