  1. Recently the Philadelphia Orchestra has been doing well. Granted, It’s been a year now since this news, but it’s good to see a lot of orchestras doing better.

  2. Yes, a lot of orchestras “doing better”
    but at the expense of player’s salaries,
    benefits, pension plans, etc. and
    creditors/vendors who will never see
    more than 10 cents on a dollar.
    Chapter 11 is a cheap trick. Nobody
    wins except the lawyers.
