The Grammys Explain Why They Hurt Indie Artists To Become “A Balanced And Viable Awards” [VIDEO]

Hardest hit are indie labels and artists who often benefit from recognition in many of the eliminated categories. Here Academy head Neil Portnow attempts to explain why:

  1. another useless press conference that for the ENTIRE 10 minutes passes names in the process of all folks who approved the changes and do not speak one second on why and what impact this will have.
    We all know the why and we all know the impact. The Grammys for their part are a TV show, competing with reality tv. To expect anything more than that is silly.
