7digital Expands U.S. Operation, Names Vickie Nauman North American President

Leading UK based digital music distributor 7digital today announced an expansion of its U.S. operation. Leading the new team will be Vickie Nauman, who was named President of 7digital North America. Nauman, who joined 7Digital from Sonos in 2009,  is charged with adding to the company's existing U.S. clients base which currently includes T-Mobile, HP, RIM, Samsung, Songbird, AOL’s Winamp and Fantrail.

All technology and platform operations will remain in 7digital's London headquarters; with a small team  managing all partnerships and business in the North American market. Nauman will stay based in Los Angeles, and the new team will likely have a presence on both coasts as well as maintain its dedicated North American team in London.

7digital also announced that its mobile service will be available on Microsoft’s new Windows Phone devices beginning next year. The app will be available in 35 territories including UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, France,Spain, Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland,Finland, Sweden and Norway. Track currency and pricing is localised for users in each region.
