iTunes has officially launched in Brazil and 15 other Latin American countries. Brazil also became the first country outside of the US to launch iTunes Match. Overall digital accounts for just 5-6% of total music sales in Latin America.

- Music exec John Atterberry, who was the victim of a random shooting on Friday has died. Atterberry was known for his work with The Spice Girls, Jessica Simpson and others.
