NEWS BRIEF: UMG vs Megaupload & Grooveshark, iTunes Match In’tl, New Music Seminar To NYC & More
Universal Music lawyers aren't getting much of a holiday break. Yesterday, UMG had to admit that Megaupload did nothing illegal in releasing a promo video featuring A-list musicians. (MORE) But that hadn't stopped UMG from going demanding a YouTube takedown. UMG did get some good news, however, on the Grooveshark lawsuit front, as Sony and Warner Music joined in.

- The New Music Seminar (NMS) announced its return to New York City this coming June 17 – 19.
