Official List Of Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2012 Inductees
The Rock Hall's incoming Class of 2012 was to be announced later today, but the list of inductees leaked overnight. Tickets for the April 14th ceremony will go on sale Saturday, Dec. 17, and HBO will offer a delayed broadcast in early May. The complete list:
- Guns N' Roses
- Beastie Boys
- Donovan
- Laura Nyro
- The Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Small Faces/Faces
Bluesman Freddie King, alias "The Texas Cannonball," will honored as an early influence. He died in 1976. The non-performer inductees are:
- Don Kirshner
- Tom Dowd
- Glyn Johns
- Cosimo Matassa
