Rdio Responds To ReDigi “Sabatoge” Claim
Earlier this week mp3 reseller ReDigi accused Capitol Records & Rdio of sabotage for blocking 30 secondsong samples. Today ReDigi responded without offering details:
"Redigi was in violation of Rdio's API Terms of Use so we put them on notice and disabled their use".

I would love to hear the details.
How could ReDigi have been in violation of album and song clip streaming? Rdio offers one service. The service they provided to ReDigi can’t be any different than the service they provide to anyone else.
I’m sure this ban wasn’t without pressure from Capitol Records…let’s be honest. Rdio is at the mercy of Capitol Records and a few other labels.
