Several reports say that Sony will receive EU approval with few restrictions of it's purchase of EMI's publishing interests today. Universal's takeover of EMI's recorded music division looks to be have a rockier path to to an EU green light. 

• Zach Horowitz is shifting from his position as President and COO at UMG to become the new Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group.
