Pandora Launches In Australia & New Zealand

Pandora has launched its full streaming service in Australia and New Zealand. It can now be accessed on smartphone apps for iOS and Android, in addition to the web player. It's the company's first foray into an overseas market.

As part of the launch, Pandora has curated stations of Australian- and New Zealand-specific music across a variety of genres including today's hits, singer-songwriter, roots and reggae dub, indigenous and classic pub rock.

Pandora has also hired a local Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Jane Huxley.  Most recently, Huston spent five years at the helm of digital for Fairfax Media.

Holden will be the first car company in Australia and New Zealand to offer full compatibility with Pandora via its new Holden MyLink infotainment system.
