  1. Happy new year 2013! Best wishes!
Hajaina RAVOAJA, a.k.a Hajaina ‘Jex, is a Malagasy Soulman. He started composing and performing his songs in July 2003. He personalizes the Soul Music and adds Malagasy musical genre. Hajaina ‘Jex’s influences are: New Soul (Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Hip hop) and “Ba Gasy”: he sings Soul with “angola” (this Malagasy word refers to the traditional Antananarivo’s vocal style characterized by an authentic ondulation with sensitivity, this is not the African country). Some of his Soul songs have “Ba Gasy” versions. Moreover, in his song entitled “Kabary an-kira” or “Melodic speech”, he created his personal musical genre. Hajaina ‘Jex’s musical personality is a mixture of these influences.
Above all, he promotes acoustic Soul. Hajaina revolutionizes Malagasy music. In July 2013, we’ll celebrate his 10 years in Soul Music.
