Pairing Music With Tangible Products
Since music isn’t generating as much money for musicians as it used to, what should they do? Many are on the road traveling and playing shows while others are trying other things. On Music Think Tank, Andy Angelos is planning on releasing music in a unique way. He is launching a business to sell green tea that helps musicians by distributing their music. He intends to ‘provide an e-commerce destination for both tea and music enthusiasts to purchase tea and receive a download from a thoughtfully paired musical artist.’ What do you think of this concept?
“…many musicians view the musical creation itself as the end product instead of one component of a larger experience provided to consumers.“
