Music Managers Plan Rallies To Support Talent Agencies Act Lawsuit

image from www.celebrityaccess.comThe National Conference of Personal Managers (NCOPM) has scheduled rallies in both New York and Los Angeles in support of their federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the California Talent Agencies Act. The New York rally is slated for 6 P.M. on Nov. 19 at Stand Up NY, 236 West 78th St., and in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Laugh Factory, 8001 Sunset Blvd, also starting at 6pm.

Personal managers repping actors, entertainers, musicians or media personalities are invited to attend the events. Admission for the events is free and a cash bar will be available.

"NCOPM is anxious to share with personal managers how the TAA not only violates their constitutional rights, but also has financially, professionally and emotionally harmed managers nationwide," said Clinton Ford Billups Jr., NCOPM National President. –  via Celebrity Access
