atVenu Links With Square To Integrate Credit Card Merch Sales

Atvenu-logoatVenu has developed a mobile and web-based global merch management service that most recently powered inventory management, nightly settlements and sales reports for SXSW merch sales. atVenu can run shows by mobile in offline mode and also handles Soundscan reporting. This versatile tool has just gotten quite a bit stronger via an integration with Square to sync accounts and import credit card sales data to atVenu.

atVenu launched in beta in January 2013 and say that by the end of their first year they had "settled over 11,000 shows and managed more than $50 million in merchandise sales."

In February 2014 atVenu closed a $1.1 million funding round and was chosen to provide merch sales inventory and reporting for SXSW.

Yesterday atVenu announced:

"You can now link your atVenu account with a new Square account and immediately begin taking credit card transactions at your concerts, integrate transaction reports, and streamline show settlements!"

"All of your transactions can now be automatically batched, totaled, and accessible in the ‘money’ area of atVenu (the ‘$’ button). Every night when you settle, all your Square transactions for the night will automatically forward into your settlement sheet – simplifying settlements and reducing mistakes."

The integration has been successfully pilot-tested at arena shows.

Bonus: If you're signing up for a new Square account you're "eligible for custom credit card processing rates."
