Music Tech Accelerator Project Music Names First 8 Startups

image from static.squarespace.comNashville based music and technology accelerator Project Music has named its inaugural class of 8 music tech startups. A partnership of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and Country Music Association, each Project Music startup receives $30,000 in seed money and will participate in a fourteen-week music business accelerator.

The eight startups that will be part of Project Music in 2015 are:

On The List – We provide exclusive perks for fans to enhance their event experience.

DART – The online distribution platform built by composers, specifically for creators of classical music.

Jammber – An open collaboration platform and digital record label with built-in talent development. We want to "digitize A&R".

HiVolume Media– A web and mobile app that is designed to be an innovative social music experience for everyone who loves music and/or karaoke bar/club/event.

Ear IQ – Ear IQ is an app for the $9B premium headphone market that dramatically improves the sound of any listener’s device in two minutes or less.

Ripple Music – Ripple Music is a cloud based social network that provides users a monetization model for music & sound contributions through collaboration.

What's Hubbin – What's Hubbin' is currently an online platform that showcases everything a user needs to know about their city's music scene.

RMXHTZ – A digital platform/interface and service that allows you to remix recordings to create remixed works and derivative works for exploitation.

Digital Entertainment Ventures is contributing financing along with Google, Creative Artists Agency, Ryman Hospitality Partners, Universal Music, DevDigital, Red Light Management and Galante Entertainment.
