Microsoft’s Xbox Music Reboots As Groove… Or Is It Groove Music? NO, Not That Other Groove Music

xbox musicMicrosoft and Google must be envious.  Despite their massive scale, neither has been able capture a significant portion of the music market, as Apple did with iTunes and appears to be doing again with Apple Music. But that doesn't stop them from trying.

Remember Zune?  It became Xbox Music, and now its relaunched yet again as Groove. Or is it Groove Music? It's hard to tell.

Much like Apple has with Apple Music, Microsoft is baking its music service into its upcoming Windows 10 OS, and it a blog post yesterday announced the new name. "Groove describes what people feel and do with music, and is more intuitive for our Windows 10 customers on what they’ll find with the app."  

Xbox Video has also been renamed as Movies & TV.

Or is Groove really called Groove Music?  The url says Groove Music and Microsoft has taken control of @GrooveMusic on  Twitter, discovered ars.
