Apple Music Launches In China For Just $1.57 USD Monthly With 90 Day Free Trial

image from cdn.macrumors.comApple has launched Apple Music, iTunes Movies and Books in the world's most populous country, China.  How many of the country's 1.3 billion consumers will flock to Apple Music remains to be seen, but Apple has certainly made the price attractive

Apple has announced that Apple Music, iTunes Movies and iBooks are now available China. 

Launching with millions of songs in its catalog, Apple Music in China includes local artists like Chan, Li Ronghao, JJ Lin and G.E.M. alongside international artists.

As in the other 100 or so countries where Apple Music is already available, users are offered a 90 free trial. After that, Apple Music in China is charging just 10 RMB/$1.57 per month. There is also be a family plan for up to six available for 15 RMB/$2.36 per month.   

“Customers in China love the App Store and have made it our largest market in the world for app downloads,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s SVP of Internet Software and Services. “One of the top requests has been more great content and we’re thrilled to bring music, movies and books to China, curated by a local team of experts.”
