Tidal Extends Free Trials To Let Users Hear Updates To Kanye West’s “The Life Of Pablo” Album

KanyeYesterday we wrote about how, by issuing multiple updates, Kayne West was using music streaming to rewrite what it means to release an album from statement to ongoing conversation. The only problem was that, since Tidal has the exclusive, you had to be a subscriber to hear it. Overnight, they solved that problem.

Tidal users who signed up using their 30 day trial to hear Kanye West's new album "The Life of Pablo" on February 14th  were set to loose access this week just as he released two unprecedented updates to the release.

After his latest album updates, Tidal now streams a new version of "Wolves" and a new track created from Frank Ocean's 'Wolves' outro dubbed "Frank's Track."
