Katy Perry’s 89 Million Follower Twitter Account Hacked

Twitter can't seem to catch a break these day's. @KatyPerry, the struggling social network's most followed account, was hacked on Monday night and incendiary tweets posted prior to being removed.

Katy Perry's Twitter account was hacked on Monday night. @KatyPerry is the social network's most followed account with 89 million followers. The hacker took on Taylor Swift and posted  including profanity, a homosexual slur and the N-word before being shut down.

The hacker, who is reportedly based in Romania, only joined the Twitter world two days ago, but quickly gained over 800 followers since infiltrating Perry's Twitter feed.
