Spotify has launched a new data driven weekly personalized playlist, Release Radar.
With Release Radar, Spotify gives users a weekly selection of new releases that matter most to them. Updated every Friday (the new international music release date, Release Radar provides up to two hours of new music from their favorite artists alongside new discoveries based on their listening habits.

As an artist or label, this means it’s important to get fans to follow you on Spotify. Any new releases are automatically added to every follower’s Release Radar — so the more followers you have, the more fans will know about the new release.
Spotify will start including data from the playlist in an artist 's Fan Insights dashboard after their next release.
