Rapper Kanye West has deleted all of his social media endorsements of President Donald Trump. West raised eyebrows during the campaign last year when he took to Twitter to praise then candidate Donald Trump, suggesting that he if he voted, he would cast his ballot for the businessman.

As well, in the final days of his abruptly abbreviated tour last year, Trump regaled the audience with rambling political screeds that appeared to offer support for Trump's purported political frankness.

After wrapping up his tour and spending a little time in the hospital due to reported psychological issues, West also met with Trump after the election, posing for a photo op with the then-President Elect in the gold-plated lobby of Trump's eponymously named New York tower.

“I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues. These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing [curriculum], and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change," West said, following his meeting with Trump.

West did not offer a reason for the deletion of his pro-Trump tweets.
