50 Cent Buys 200 Front Row Seats To Ja Rule Concert To Leave Them Empty

50 centThe ongoing feud between 50 Cent and Ja Rule has reached new heights with the rapper claiming to have used a GroupOn to buy 200 tickets to an upcoming Ja Rule concert to keep the seats empty.  “I just bought 200 seats in the front so they can be empty. LOL,” 50 Cent said in an Instagram post. “People think I’m mean so go see this. $15 bucks wait what I do now LOL.”

Live Music Revenue Will Top $30B In 5 Years

Concert crowdPricewaterhouseCoopers has released the 2018 edition of its respected annual review of the entertainment industries, the Global Entertainment and Media Outlook 2018–2022. According to PwC, the value of the international concert business is projected to increase at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.3% over the next five years, reaching $30.55bn ($24.36bn of it from ticket sales) by 2022.

CNCO, Daddy Yankees Top Latin American Music Awards 2018

CNCO took home Favorite Duo or Group, Favorite Artist – Pop and Favorite Artist – Pop for CNCO. Ozuna won Favorite Artists – Urban, Album of the Year and Favorite Album – Urban for Odisea. Daddy Yankee won Favorite Male Artist and was honored with the ICON award, according to UPI.

Spotify Stock Below IPO Day Price, $6.7B Off Peak Valuation

Spotify$Spotify stock is continuing to struggle, closing Thursday at $148.96 and just below its $198.99 per share peak  just three months ago. That leaves the streamer with a $26.31 billion market cap, down $6.7 billion from a $33 billion peak summer valuation.  The stock slipped as low as $146.01 in after hours trading.
