Radionomy To End US Streaming This Week

image from 2.bp.blogspot.com[UPDATED] Radionomy, which allowed users to create online radio stations, will shut down U.S. streaming at the end of this week. The announcement offered to migrate stations to Shoutcast for Business.

U.S. music licensing rates set by the Copyright Royalty Board made streaming to U.S. listeners unsustainable for the company, according to RAIN. Shoutcast and Winamp are also Radionomy owned companies.
