Instagram has rolled out yet another cool feature to its stories. It’s called Series on IGTV, and we’re here to tell you all about it.
Introducing Series on IGTV
With this new feature, users will be able to organize their IGTV videos into a series with a consistent title and theme. Unlike Feed, Stories or Live, IGTV now allows you to brand and create your own series that your audience can look forward to.
Here’s what’s new:
Viewers will be able to opt-in to notifications so every time you post a new IGTV video, your audience will be the first to know.
Videos in a series will display as one playlist on the series page with your chosen title and description.
When viewers watch an episode from your series, the next episode will automatically be recommended (if it exists) for continued viewing, allowing viewers to catch up on your catalog of content.
This feature is giving YouTube a run for its money, as it provides one space for all types of content. As a musician, you can post consistent series’ of bits of your performances, parts of your rehearsals and so much more. Get creative with it! Your audience can look forward to having a place to keep up with all the dope things you’re doing lately, all on one organized platform.
