Spotify Personalizes Your Mobile Home Screen

Spotify has introduced a new personalized space at the top of the mobile homepage that shows users their favorite music and podcasts alongside and new music recommendations.

It’s rolling out now to all global users with at least 30 days of listening history.

Starting with a “Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening” welcome when the user opens the app, the new feature groups content on the mobile home page into two sections:

  • familiar content on the top half
  • new or recommended content on the bottom half
