Billboard, Bandsintown Launch 3 Music Live Stream Indexes

Billboard and Bandsintown have launched three weekly charts that track global fan activity on the platform related to live-streamed performances.

Bandsintown has listed more than 35,000 live-streamed performances by over 12,000 artists since March 25th.

The Bandsintown + Billboard Top index looks at artists with 250,001 or more trackers (followers), the Rising chart is for artists with 10,001-250,000 trackers, and the Buzzing chart reviews artists with 10,000 or fewer trackers.

These weekly rankings are determined by a blending of event RSVPs and direct-to-platform ‘Watch Live’ clicks.

Last year Bandsintown and Billboard launched four touring indexes based on the music discovery platform’s massive data sets.
