Twitter Grew 27% Last Year

With TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook getting headlines, it’s easy to forget that Twitter still remains an important – and growing – social media and marketing platform.

In fact, Twitter ended 2020 with 192 million ‘monetizable daily active users’ (mDAUs), up 27% from the previous year.

Twitter revenue was up 28% to $1.29 billion, leading to a 2020 operating profit of $252 million
