Get A Room! Hotels Offer Exclusive Streaming Concerts

Would you rent a hotel room just so you could watch a concert on TV? The Ottawa Department of Tourism thinks so.

Mark Monahan, Executive Director of RBC Bluesfest at the Fairmont Château Laurier

The Ottawa Tourism and RBC Bluesfest are partnering for The Room Service Concert Series, that will offer exclusive concert and comedy experiences at hotels in the Canadian province.

“We’ve pulled out all the stops to provide memorable weekend experiences,” says Mark Monahan of RBC Bluesfest. “While we wait to enjoy in-person events again, we’ve found a way to scratch that itch for a shared entertainment experience by bringing together a variety of great artists for hotel patrons to enjoy.”

According to CelebrityAccess, fans can submit questions during a live Q&A and interact with other hotel guests via a live chat during the show. Most hotels also offer room service and meal delivery.

The lineup includes:

• Friday, April 9: Alan Doyle; Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy; Fortunate Ones
• Saturday, April 10: Myles Goodwyn; Tim Hicks, Lindsay Ell
