Whether it’s your first or 100th time, going on tour can be an exciting time in a musician’s life. That said, it can also be incredibly rigorous and exhausting, and a huge disruption of your day to day life. That said, it is possible to make an effort towards healthy practices while on the road. Here, we look at how.

In this recent piece from MusicThinkTank, contributor M Banks shares some key advice for staying healthy while on tour.

“While getting a full eight hours can be tough when you have a sporadic schedule, making sure you get enough sleep each night can help you reduce stress, feel more energized and generally feel better in your body and mind. 

If you don’t tend to sleep well in spaces that aren’t your home, try out ear plugs, white noise apps and neck pillows — they can really get the job done.”
