Polaris Music Prize names 40 album Long List 2021
The Polaris Music Prize has selected the 2021 Long List of 40 albums for the 2021 edition of the awards. Entries are judged based on artistic merit and not record sales.
The 2021 ‘long list’ was compiled by a 199 member jury that reviewed 204 albums for the 2021 edition which will award $50,000 to the artist who created the Canadian Album of the Year. Nine other acts will receive $3,000.
