Bandzoogle now powers 60,000 musicians websites, Dave Cool upped to CRO

Bandzoogle now powers more than 60,000 websites for musicians who have used its toolkit to sell more than $88 million in music and merch 100% commission-free.

Now in it’s 19th year, Bandzoogle is that rare tech company that has not just survived for almost two decades, but thrived by putting musicians first.

Bandzoogle also shared that it has promoted Dave Cool, its popular ViP of Business Development, to the newly created post of Chief Relationship Officer. Hired in 2012 as Community Manager, Cool has aided thousands of artists by creating valuable content and often with a direct helping hand.

As CRO, he will continue to execute strategies on growth and retention, serve as a liaison for industry partners, and strengthen relationship-building within the company.

“An important aspect to Bandzoogle’s culture is the ability to grow our people, as well as our company,” says Stacey Bedford, Bandzoogle CEO. “In addition to our strategic partnerships, Dave will now oversee everything from customer support, to communications and marketing. As Chief Relationship Officer, I know he’ll encompass all of these very human touch points.”

“Long before I ever worked for Bandzoogle, I was a huge fan of the company and even a paying member,” says Dave Cool. “They’ve always put musicians first, and I’ve been grateful to be part of this team these last 10 years. To be named CRO is an absolute honor, and I’m looking forward to not only continuing to grow the platform and empowering musicians, but also empowering our incredible team of people.”
