The independent music sector accounted for 51% of the nominations and 46% of the winners at the 2022 Grammy Awards, according to data provided by A2IM.
Top categories for indies included Best Latin Jazz, Best Contemporary Blues Album, Best Americana Album and Best Reggae Album.
