Bandcamp updates search to improve music discovery

Bandcamp has made some important changes to its internal search that should improve music discovery on the popular indie music platform.

These changes are already live on the web and will be added to the Android and iOS apps soon.

• Users can search using combinations of artist, track, album, and label names. For example, search for an artist name + album name to find exactly what they are looking for.
• New releases appear immediately in search. They used to take several hours.
