Created by Instagram, Threads is the new app taking the internet by storm. Similar to Twitter, Threads lets users interact through text updates and join public conversations. All you have to do is log in through your existing Instagram account and you’re ready to join in on the action. Here’s how to get started…

Getting Started

To start using Threads, just use your existing Instagram account to log in. (Don’t worry, your username and verification will carry over.) If you want to edit your profile once you’re in, you can do that too. Whether you want to follow the same people you already do on Instagram or find new likeminded people, there’s a whole community waiting for you to discover on Threads.

Creating a Thread

To create your first Thread, think of an idea, opinion, or conversation starter (up to 500 characters) you’d like to share.  Then, attach links, photos, carousels and/or videos that fit your message. Once posted, people can engage with your new content with likes and replies. Then, you can jump into the replies to start reacting to the commentary from others, and so on so forth.

Explore

In your Feed, you’ll see content from your current connections as well as recommendations from other creators. If you want to look around and find something new, you can discover new accounts through the Search bar or through suggested follows, too.

If you see something you like during your exploration, tap the little arrows repost or quote it, say something about it, and keep the conversation going!

Threads

Once you’ve created your amazing new Thread, don’t just post it and forget all about it. Be sure to interact with it, as well as with other user’s content. Tag people in your community, share Threads, leave comments, the works. If you want to grow your engagement on the platform, it takes work just like every other social platform! Explore the app and grow your community one step at a time.

 Ready to try it out?

Download the Threads app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). If you need help setting up your profile, check out this official post which breaks it down step-by-step.

  1. Earn money simply by working online. You are free to work from home whenever you choose. You may earn more than $600 per day working only 5 hours per day online. I made $19,500 with this in my spare time.
