Manatt’s music streaming royalty calculator is the best we’ve seen

Since streaming services began paying musicians and labels, we’ve seen dozens of calculators purporting to predict earnings, but one just launched by consultancy Manatt looks to be the most up-to-date and accurate that we’ve seen so far.

The new Music Streaming Royalty Calculator draws from Mannat’s market experience and analysis of data collected from direct source payors to provide “accurate, up-to-date and easily accessible streaming revenue information.”

Rates for Spotify and Apple Music are updated monthly and correspond to activity three months prior. For example, calculations in May reflect the rates applicable to January usage.
