Spotify Wrapped is LIVE with new features to connect artists and fans

Spotify Wrapped 2023, the streamer’s personalized look back at the year in streaming, is now live, including new features to help artists share their year in music with fans.

Starting today, artists can log into Spotify for Artists to view their Artist Wrapped experience and Share Cards and share them with fans in 37 languages.

A second summary share card highlighting fan engagement, including the number of new listeners, saves, playlists, and the number of fans who had them as top artists, has been added. 

Spotify Wrapped now also includes new data stories like the number of listeners who heard an artist for the first time in 2023, the top three places where touring artists saw the most ticket sales, and the average time spent listening by each of the artist’s top 0.001% fans. 

Select artists, including Ava Max, JVKE, Chelsea Cutler, and Lauren Daigle, will host audio-only Wrapped Listening Parties to thank fans for their support, stream top tracks of the year, answer fan questions, sell merch, and more. Wrapped Listening Parties are only available to Spotify Premium subscribers.

Other familiar Wrapped features have returned and been expanded:

  • Your Artist Messages”– Tens of thousands of artists,, including Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma, NewJeans, SZA, KAROL G, Jung Kook, and more, uploaded personalized video messages via Spotify for Artists. Fans will now see messages from their top artists included as part of their Wrapped data stories and in the Wrapped Feed on the Spotify homescreen. [See collage of Artist Messages below}
  • Merch & Ticketing – After setting a record for artist merch sales on Spotify during last year’s Wrapped, artists in the US and Canada can reward top fans in the US and CA with discounts on select merch items this year. Personalized merchandise offers from all artists will be promoted via the Wrapped experience on Spotify, email, and more. Fans worldwide will also receive concert recommendations from their top artists included in the Wrapped Feed, the Live Events Feed, and additional off-platform promotion.
  • Songwriter Wrapped – Songwriters and producers with an active  Songwriter Page and Written By playlist on Spotify will receive an exclusive Songwriter Wrapped experience and share a card recapping how their written works performed on Spotify this year. [Examples HERE]
    • New this year, participants can shine a light on their fellow creators and favorite songwriting or production moments from the past year with customizable share cards (“My Favorite Songwriter of 2023,” “My Pick for Best Lyrics of 2023,” “My Favorite Producer of 2023,” “My Pick for Best Beat of 2023,” “My Favorite Mixing Engineer of 2023” and “Thank you to my 2023 collaborators”), accessible on our @SpotifySongwriting Instagram page and HERE
