un:hurd expands automated Music Marketing Toolkit, adds funding

Music marketing platform un:hurd has raised a new funding round to expand its suite of data and AI-led features to help artists build, nurture, and monetize their audiences.

Investors include Kobalt Music Founder and Chairman Willard Ahdritz, co-founder of Musiio, Hazel Savage. Nigerian star and CIO at Zagadat Capital Mr Eazi, and Dutch DJ and record producer Sam Feldt.

Un:hurd‘s goal is to use AI and other tech to give artists the capabilities of a data-driven marketing and ad team alongside artist and fan interactions in a single platform and at a fraction of the cost.

The new features include a fan hub which enables artists to create a website hub which they can collect owned fan data, a marketing assistant which leverages AI to drive marketing with content ideas, marketing plans and release schedules. A new benchmarking tool lets artists compare themselves with their peers.

A just-launched web platform complements the existing iOS app.

The number of artists taking using un:hurd has more than doubled in the last year to 70,000, according to the UK based startup, including more established artists like Nigerian superstar Mr Eazi and Grammy nominated Tayla Parx.
