A newly redesigned imeem goes live today as part of a campaign to slow a MySpace Music jugaurnaut that claimed [1 billion](https://www.hypebot.com/myspace-logs-1b/) streams in its first week.

Both services offer unlimited streaming, but MySpace’s playlists are more restrcited and lack imeem’s ability to repost to other sites. MySpace can also be a confusing maze of information and the new features attempt to simplify discovery on imeem.

- **Spotlight** page offers a stream of new and notable music, artists, video and news
- **Discover** page provides personalized music, artist, video, playlist and event recommendations.
- **Browse** page offers imeem chart-based browsing of songs, videos, people, events and media
- **Artist** pages serve as a hub for everything posted by the community and related to that artist on imeem
