****INgrooves Music Group, a leading distributor of [independent music](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent%5Fmusic?ref=hypebot.com), announced the appointment of [music business](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music%5Findustry?ref=hypebot.com) aficionado Nick Roden as Director of [International Business Development](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International%5Fbusiness%5Fdevelopment?ref=hypebot.com). Roden, responsible for the development of new and existing distributor, label, manager and business relationships, will be based in the London office and will be reporting directly to Alex Branson, SVP & MD INgrooves International.**

"I'm thrilled to see someone of Nick's calibre join INgrooves,” said Branson. “His experience of helping indie labels & artists navigate the ever changing retail and music service landscape is a huge boost to the company and our label partners, both current and future."

Beginning his successful career in independent music sales and distribution more than 15 years ago, Roden brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the INgrooves team.
