Today the image based social network launched @music, a new account dedicated to "exploring music around the globe, from those who create it to the community around it." @music is Instagram's first content vertical.Updated at least 6 times a week, @music will chronicle music on Instagram. That includes "showing you a different side of artists you know and love, like Questlove (@questlove), and introducing you to up-and-coming talents like Tricot (@ikkyu193). "@music will also highlight music photographers, album illustrators, instrument makers and, fans,; and invite community participation with a monthly music-themed hashtag. "Music is a huge part of all of our lives here at Instagram.
