When **Apple** announced **iTunes Match** in early June it promised a launch by "the end of October". As of the morning of November 2nd, no launch is in sight, and as usual Apple is not talking. Developers have had **access to a beta version** of iTunes Match since August, but according to reports from accross the net, that access has now expired.

It's **not like Apple** to miss a major self-imposed deadline, and could signal either technical issues or problems with rightsholders.
