Made possible by a grant from **Music Venue Trust** and put together by [**Drowned In Sound**](http://drownedinsound.org/?ref=hypebot.com), the rag will "give a voice to fans alongside covering acts playing stadiums and arenas who support the grassroots levy, cult heroes thrilling crowds, and rising acts playing small local venues. " Editing will be **Hannah Ewens** (Rolling Stone, Vice, Vogue, etc) and design handled by new DIS creative director **Raissa Pardini.** ### **Kentucky Gets A Music Office** Kentucky's new Music Office is being called the next step in a bipartisan effort to strengthen the state’s music economy. The Kentucky Music Office established by **Governor Andy Beshear** builds on **Senate President Robert Stivers'** bill SB 324 which directs a study of the needs of Kentucky’s musicians and music venues and recommendations to support industry growth. “Kentucky’s musical heritage runs deep—from the **Everly Brothers** and L**oretta Lynn** to **Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, My Morning Jacket,** and **Cage the Elephant,**”said **Joe Argabrite, President of NIVA Kentucky**. "Music has always been one of our greatest cultural and economic assets. He spent the past 15 years with **Universal Attractions Agency** wherehe worked with artists including **I Love 90s, George Clinton, Ludacris, Black Eyed Peas, Ub40, Flo Rida, Rick Ross, Nelly, Ja Rule**, **Ashanti, Trey Songz, Mya, Floetry, Morris Day**, and **Sheila E**. The company says revenue more than tripled over the past three years while remaining EBITDA-positive. It now operates in 55 countries with an expanded presence in North America and Asia. The ruling also keeps intact the **FTC**'s claims that **Ticketmaster** violated the **Better Online Ticket Sales (BOTS) Act** and engaged in deceptive pricing practices.
