(OK, maybe that's just me.) But some of the folks behind **Bonnaroo** are taking a very different approach, pairing designer **cocktails** mixed by "spirit guides" with **music**.

Bonnaroo c0-promoter Superfly Entertainment is launching a series of alcohol-infused events, offering cocktails, food and music.

Dubbed Cocktail Magic, the events are set for Washington D.C.'s Dock S on March 12; Weylin B Seymour's in New York City on March 19th; The Castle At Park Plaza in Boston on March 26th and Morgan MFG in Chicago on April 1st.

Cocktail experts Julie Reiner and Andy Seymour have signed on as the 'spirit guides' for the event, and Brooklyn mentalist Vinny DePonto has assembled a team of illusionists for entertainment and bite-sized servings of food will be provided by Roberta's of Brooklyn.

Musical talent on the bill includes:

- Vacationer (DJ Set) Washington D.C.
- Baio (DJ Set) (New York)
- Neon Indian (DJ Set) Boston
- St. Lucia (DJ Set) Chicago
- Jon Armstrong
- Matthew Holtzclaw
- Noah Levine
- Francis Menotti
