Increasingly Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, the blockchain, and NFTs are moving past novelty status and into the music industry mainstream.

Independent label EMPIRE announced their “first cryptocurrency artist payment” – a $1 million advance to Atlanta rapper Money Man paid entirely in Bitcoin.

Going all-in on the crypto theme, tomorrow 11/12 Money Man will release a new album and title track called “Blockchain.” He also leads a group of 40,000 discussing cryptocurrencioes on [Telegram](https://t.me/joinchat/bkzM0V8%5F3hhkZTVh?ref=hypebot.com).
