****BMI has released their latest fiscal report, which includes [record-high revenue figures](http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/23/business/media/collectors-of-royalties-for-music-publishers-may-see-better-results.html?%5Fr=0&ref=hypebot.com) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2013\. Its $944 million in revenue and $814 million in royalty distributions are up 5% and 9%, respectively, from the previous year. BMI credits much of its positive growth to a 65% increase in [new media revenues](http://www.musicrow.com/2013/09/bmi-2013-fiscal-report/?ref=hypebot.com) coming from Netflix, Hulu and others. International revenues constituted $297 million, over 30% of its total revenue. - More Music Publishing News:**

**Apple’s iTunes Radio** managed to reach [11 million users](http://www.musicweek.com/news/read/itunes-radio-surpasses-11m-listeners-since-launch/056168?ref=hypebot.com) in less than one week. Apple’s big first step toward Pandora’s 72 million active listeners also resulted in a [$650 million drop](http://www.billboard.com/biz/articles/news/digital-and-mobile/5719492/over-11-million-people-have-already-used-itunes-radio?ref=hypebot.com) (11%) of Pandora’s market capitalization. Pandora is still stuck in a [rate court battle](http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/09/18/net-us-publishing-pandora-idUSBRE98H02Q20130918?ref=hypebot.com) with the PROs, while Apple has opted to negotiate direct deals with publishers.

**Carlin Music, Wixen Music UK** and **Ole** have all announced they will be joining **[IMPEL](http://www.prsformusic.com/impel/Pages/default.aspx?ref=hypebot.com)**, the European collective management society for online music rights.
