Nashville celebrated country music this week with four major awards shows – the CMA, ASCAP, BMI and SESAC awards.

**SESAC’s Nashville Music Awards** honored Keifer Thompson as Songwriter of the Year, Jesse Rice’s [“Cruise” ](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCSMCgqlc-0&ref=hypebot.com)as Song of the Year, and Magic Mustang Music as Publisher of the Year. **ASCAP began the countdown to its 100th anniversary** with the launch of its [100 Years, 100 Days](http://www.ascap.com/press/2013/1105-ascap100-website-launch.aspx?ref=hypebot.com) campaign. America’s oldest PRO is celebrating a century of American music history and the people who made it with [ASCAP100](http://www.ascap.com/100/?ref=hypebot.com) – a centennial site featuring an interactive timeline, music video and short film. ASCAP turns 100 on February 13th, 2014.

**SOCAN has partnered with Audiam** to help its members [capture their publishing revenue on YouTube](http://www.socan.ca/news/youtube-earnings-unlocked-socan-members?ref=hypebot.com). Audiam, the YouTube monetization service founded by TuneCore co-founders [Jeff Price and Peter Wells](http://www.billboard.com/biz/articles/news/digital-and-mobile/5360723/audiam-tunecore-co-founders-jeff-price-and-peter-wells?ref=hypebot.com), will help SOCAN members with content ranging from official music videos to UGC by identifying uses, authorizing ad-placements, back-claiming royalties and placing “buy links” under videos. SOCAN members that [sign up with Audiam](http://www.audiam.com/socan/?ref=hypebot.com) before November 30, 2013 will be charged a discounted administration fee of 15% (usually 25%) until December 31, 2014.
